Not for love of money, but of Humanity. "Greater is he who works for the good of all, then he who works for the good of himself only" ~ Matthew 25:40: "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"- (NIV). I live in Singapore where the Emperor must not be disturbed.

Those who advocate closure of parks, banning of exercise are shortsighted people, who have missed the forest for the trees.

Those who advocate closure of parks, banning of exercise are shortsighted people, who have missed the forest for the trees.

All medical evidence shows that those with sedentary lifestyle (and smoking) related chronic medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, high cholesterol, heart and kidney problems, stroke/ dementia, cancer, are at the highest risk of severe complications/ mortality from COVID-19 infections which would use up precious ICU / ventilator beds.

Singaporeans are known to be sedentary and severely lack exercise, which is a reason for near 1st World, World record rates of diabetes in Singapore.

Thus, those who advocate closure of parks and banning of outdoor exercise are just narrow minded red necks who are low in IQ and out on a mindless witch hunt without any proper justification or reason to do so, probably allowing hysteria/ fear to cloud their better reason and judgement.

Until and unless Singaporeans are less sedentary and more active, ICU beds will ALWAYS be in very short supply because they are unnecessarily being used to treat those with sedentary lifestyle related chronic diseases to begin with. Covid-19 is just the straw that breaks the camels back but THE UNDERLYING PROBLEM is still SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE , perpetuated by brainless redneck, quarrelous and short sighted (lazy) people (bogans) who severely underestimate the value of regular and systematic exercise.
