The admin of the CNA community forum are prejudiced?
(See general contents page for the stats: http://forum.channelnewsasia.com/index.php)- picture of screen grab on right:
- the 'Market Talk' page is well archived (6804 topics and 212935 posts), but topics in the 'community section' are quickly deleted
- (the same statistics for the 'community page' are '22/127' respectively- because CNA much more quickly delete older posts from 'Community' pages; looks like CNA is selectively censoring community views whilst promoting investment , sport and leisure views.
- The forum 'A State of Mine' has remained locked for the longest time.
Not for love of money, but of Humanity. "Greater is he who works for the good of all, then he who works for the good of himself only" ~ Matthew 25:40: "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"- (NIV). I live in Singapore where the Emperor must not be disturbed.

Humans at LTA reply!!!
Oki, I'm quite pleased, LTA has decided to reply n look into the matter. Never mind if it's a slow reply, at least my anonymous efforts are noticed. I do hope though that the 'information' they are gathering isn't of a personal/ private nature. Hope my Ver5.1 is clear enough for them cos I won't entertain any phone correspondence. At least paragraph 1 is clear I think. Must thank those who responded with thought and encouragement throughout the versions of this post.

Judges must not pre-judge
Mini-mart operator's appeal prompts Judicial Commissioner's remark; By K. C. Vijayan, Law Correspondent
JUDGES must not pressure parties in a case to settle their dispute quickly, nor should they make up their minds about the case before hearing all the arguments.

Is Dr Balaji an extortionist, cruelly holding healthcare hostage.
Is Dr Balaji an extortionist, cruelly holding healthcare hostage?
Dr Balaji Sadasivan:"...But in the next five years, if you give us a strong mandate, we will find ways to make healthcare affordable and more convenient for more Singaporeans... ... bringing down the cost of your healthcare, but (to) do this, we need a strong mandate from you ... ", sounds very presumptuous to me, over confident of winning the elections. The other possibility is that he has no dignity, just shameless toeing the line of his puppet masters. Healthcare costs dependent on a 'strong mandate'? Sounds like ransom.
